Patrick Carroll is a longtime friend and all around great man. He is also amidst a major battle with Cystic Fibrosis for the 2nd time in his 25 years on this planet. Having already received a double lung transplant 5 years ago, he was able to lead a somewhat normal life until a few months go when his body began to reject them. He is now struggling to regain strength to be put back on the transplant list. I wrote these songs for a friend who I have loved and respected since I met him over a decade ago, who I have been honored to work with on several projects, and who is well-loved by every community he has ever touched. All proceeds for the download of these songs goes to his fund.
Jonathan Timm's most recent release comes under the moniker the Jeremies (who are: Jonathan Timm, Dylan Lancaster, Brandon Lohr, and Michael Zimmerman). Emblazoned with lyrical honesty, the Jeremies' self-titled album weaves together 7 songs, each with haunting melodic content and a healthy country sensibility.
Hey Nashville this very well may be our last show in town of 2016! We love playing the Basement East and can I tell you something? You love shows at The Basement East so pull yourself up by your bootstraps and come listen to us, Kellen of Troy and Dustin Sellers this Wednesday
I love this version because it's the E Street Band's first tour with Nils Lofgren, and he introduces him in the intro- also "My father would never spend more than $500 on an automobile". Come see me play it at The Basement East this Friday
